From patriotic heroism to helpless delusion

Poets such as Rupert Brooke, Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon are well known for their poems written about the First World War, but little was published by the women poets of the time until the latter part of the 20th century. Pam Gross BA Hons will talk about the poets, their reasons for writing the poems and read, and invite others to read, a selection of them.
