Bob Muscutt talks about the life and times of his great-great-grandmother, Mary Ball, who was the last woman to be publicly hanged for murder in Warwickshire in 1849. Born in Nuneaton and tried and executed in Coventry for the murder of her husband Thomas, Mary was a contemporary and near neighbour of the great novelist George Eliot.
